CEBRI welcomes U.S. Senator Ben Cardin to its new headquarters

On July 15th, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) hosted U.S. Senator Ben Cardin at its new headquarters in Gávea to discuss the current geopolitical complexities in the world. Senator Cardin currently serves as the Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

Accompanying Senator Ben Cardin in the meeting were Representative Steve Cohen (D-TN), Representative Daniel Goldman (D-NY), Representative Brad Schneider (D-IL), Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), Representative Steny Hoyer (D-MD), Representative Jim Costa (D-CA), Myrna Cardin, Senator Cardin's Spouse, Jullie Schneider, Representative Schneider's Spouse, Debbie Yamada, Deputy Chief of Staff, Damian Murphy, Staff Director, Foreign Relations Committee, Eric Harris, Communications Director, Foreign Relations Committee, Consul General in Rio de Janeiro Ryan Rowlands and Political Officer Giscard Guilloteau.

Alongside the American delegation, the meeting was attended by Julia Dias Leite, CEO at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), José Pio Borges, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), Ambassador Marcos Azambuja, Trustee Emeritus at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), Antonio Souza e Silva, Institutional and Government Relations Advisory Board at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), Teresa Rossi, T20 Executive Manager at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), Clarissa Lins, Trustee at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) and Founding Partner at Catavento Consultoria, and Luiz Augusto de Castro Neves, Vice-Chairman Emeritus at the Brazilian Center of International Relations (CEBRI) and President of the Brazil-China Business Council (CEBC).
