Closed-door meetings

Dinner Dialogue with COP30 Presidency and key embassies in Brasília

Hosted by Clean Air Fund and CEBRI, this event brought together leaders from the COP30 Presidency, key embassies, and Brazilian ministries to advance the agenda on super pollutants and air quality at COP30. The dialogue spotlighted the urgent impacts of super pollutants such as black carbon and tropospheric ozone on climate change, public health, and economic stability.

It also highlighted the progress made at previous methane and non-C02 summits hosted in the margins of COP28 and COP29 and examined the opportunities to further this progress into concrete commitments at COP30. Structured around remarks from a scientific expert, diplomatic representatives, and a senior Brazilian government official, the evening explored the potential for Brazil’s strategic role in championing this agenda.
