Protecting strategic sectors from cyberattacks: key recommendations

According to Microsoft’s 2022 Digital Defense Report the vast majority of successful cyberattacks – potentially up to 98% of them – could be prevented by implementing basic cyber security hygiene. Good cyber hygiene is, therefore, the foundation for effective cybersecurity. During this workshop we reflected on the main recommendations that were collected during the previous three workshops related to the project “Protecting strategic sectors from cyberattacks”, a joint initiative between Microsoft multistakeholder compendium and the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI).
