The objective of the third panel is to discuss the role of the State in the face of the challenges posed in the 21st century, with emphasis on the reduction of inequality and poverty, along with strategies to enable investments in the expansion of productive capacity, in infrastructure, and in the decarbonization of the economy.
Organized by the Brazilian Development Bank (BNDES) in partnership with CEBRI and the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), the international conference "A Sustainable Development Strategy for the 21st Century" will bring together industry experts to discuss the coordination between fiscal and monetary policy and how to make them compatible to boost a long-term investment strategy in Brazil, tailored to 21st-century demands.
