In this second closed-door debate, CEBRI and the British Consulate General invite experts to reflect on Nature, Agriculture, Forestry and the bioeconomy, in which issues such as:
• With regard to forests, how can payments for results be implemented in different models and initiatives, such as the PPCDAm (Action Plan for the Prevention and Control of Deforestation in the Legal Amazon) and the NDC (Nationally Determined Contribution)?
• How to develop transparency and traceability in the agricultural supply chain? Considering the British leadership of the Amsterdam Declaration Partnership (ADP in 2023), how could the UK support Brazil?
• In relation to the bioeconomy, how can the UK use its experience in scientific and technological development to support the bioeconomy in Brazil?
• Overview on the latest victims of the CBD (Convention on Biological Diversity)
