This dialogue is the second part of the Climate Emergency and Environmental Justice pillar of CEBRI’s project in partnership with the US Consulate in Rio de Janeiro. In light of the first event on August 15, 2022, the aim of this webinar is to complement and further the discussion on Brazil-US relations regarding the global climate emergency. It will pay close attention to the Biden administration’s current climate and environmental policy, the potential for strengthened cooperation between the two countries in this respect, and the role of environmental justice in addressing these issues.
