On April 7, CEBRI, in partnership with IMB, held the lecture "Brazil’s Role in the Global Economy" which discussed the challenges of the current Brazilian economy that is facing one of its worst moments. The economic crisis takes place in parallel with an unfavorable scenario for emerging economies, due to the end of the "commodity super-cycle" and the cooling down of the Chinese economy.
The meeting was attended by Julia Dias Leite, CEBRI CEO; Carlos Braga, Professor, IMD & Fundação Dom Cabral; Claudio Frischtak (Member of the CEBRI Board of Trustees and President of InterB; Leonardo Botelho (Head of the BNDES' International Cooperation Area); and Marcio Senne de Moraes (Vale's External Relations Director).
