On March 30, CEBRI held the event "What is the future of the European Union?" which brought together European ambassadors to Brazil at the Itamaraty Palace, in Rio de Janeiro. They presented the advances and contradictions of the European Union to an audience composed of authority figures, diplomats, liberal professionals, academics and students.
The debate was attended by the Ambassador of the European Union in Brazil, João Cravinho, the Ambassador of Ireland in Brazil, Brian Glynn, the Ambassador of Germany in Brazil, Georg Witschel, the President of FUNAG, Ambassador Sérgio Eduardo Moreira Lima, the Vice-Chairman of CEBRI who opened the event, Ambassador Luiz Felipe de Seixas Corrêa, and mediator, Helena Celestino.
