On March 15th, CEBRI, in partnership with Institute for Economic Policy Studies (IEPE/Casa das Graças), organized the lecture "Life After the Trade War" with the Head of Research at the Gavekal Dragonomics Consultancy, Arthur Kroeber, to discuss the possible directions of the trade dispute between the United States and China for the economy and politics of both countries. The debate was chaired by CEBRI's President of the Board of Trustees, José Pio Borges.
The expectation discussed at the lecture is that an agreement will be reached in the first half of 2019, given the political weight of a positive negotiation for both the Donald Trump and Xi Jinping governments.
