III EU-Brazil Business Dialogue | Industrial AI: The New Frontier for Investment in Brazilian Industry

The digitalization of Brazil's industrial sector has advanced steadily, driven by the adoption of technologies such as artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT), advanced automation, and digital twins. Despite this progress, significant structural bottlenecks remain, particularly in the capacity to implement, integrate, and scale these solutions within production environments.

The core challenge lies in the absence of a robust intermediary layer for testing, validation, and technology diffusion, which impedes translating available solutions into effective industrial applications. This scenario highlights a mismatch between the growing demand for industrial modernization and the country's capacity to absorb technological advances.

In this context, CEBRI, in partnership with the Delegation of the European Union to Brazil and ApexBrasil, is organizing the Business Dialogue within the framework of São Paulo Innovation Week 2026. The initiative is part of the European Union–Brazil Investment Dialogue project, which aims to promote cooperation and foster investments in digitalization and decarbonization.

The event seeks to discuss, based on concrete evidence, the role of industrial digitalization as a driver of productivity gains, energy efficiency, decarbonization, and Brazil's integration into higher-value-added global value chains. Aligned with Nova Indústria Brasil (NIB), the dialogue aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Brazil's industrial sector.
