This is the 9th edition of the China Today - Anna Jaguaribe Executive Seminar program, promoted by the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) and the Institute for Brazil-China Studies (IBRACH), in partnership with the China Institute for Science and Technology Policy (CISTP) of the School of Public Policy & Management (SPPM) of Tsinghua University, the largest in China and one of the largest in the world.

In this seminar, executive leaders from the public and private sectors and academics from Brazil discuss about the Chinese economy, including their geopolitical perceptions, economic outlook, financial reforms, innovation trends, China and Asia, with the renowned professors from Tsinghua University. The program is named after Anna Jaguaribe, as a legacy of one of the most important experts on China in Brazil. A sociologist by training, Anna served as a Board Member of the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) and Director of the Institute for Brazil-China Studies (IBRACH).

About the China Institute for Science and Technology Policy (CISTP)

The China Institute for Science and Technology Policy at Tsinghua University (CISTP) was jointly founded by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China and Tsinghua University in 2003. Its aim is to become a leading institution in Science and Technology policy and development strategy through its educational and research activities.
