CEBRI holds meetings with members and partners from the energy and infrastructure sectors

Last week, CEBRI held meetings with representatives of associated companies and partner companies, aiming at establishing an agenda for approximation and partnership in topics such as energy, environment, trade, security, and infrastructure.

The Head of Public and Governmental Relations at ExxonMobil, a CEBRI member company for almost 10 years and sponsor of the cebri.org website, hosted the Director of External Relations, Fundraising, Communication, and Events at CEBRI, Lucas Dib, and the Deputy Director of the area, Fernanda Araripe, to think about partnership projects in the area of energy security and environment.

Galp, a CEBRI member company since 2022, welcomed CEBRI in its office in Rio de Janeiro, to discuss issues such as energy transition and sustainability. On the occasion, Ana Silveira, Global Director of External Relations and Regulation at Galp, and Cristiane Coelho, Head Brazil of External Relations and Communication at Galp, met with Lucas Dib.

The Global Head of Corporate Affairs at Suzano, Mariana Lisboa, went to CEBRI, where she met with Lucas Dib and Fernanda Araripe, Deputy Director of External Relations at CEBRI to discuss topics such as renewable products and innovation. A CEBRI member, Suzano, sponsored the event "China-Brazil Dialogues on Sustainable Development" held in Beijing.

Ambassador Roberto Azevedo, Executive Director of PepsiCo and President of the PepsiCo Foundation, went to CEBRI's headquarters, in Gávea, for a lunch with Julia Dias Leite, CEBRI's CEO, Luiz Ildefonso Simões Lopes, newly elected Vice-President of the Board of Trustees, and Lucas Dib. They explored issues such as sustainability in food production and international trade. The Ambassador taught a class in the course "Brazil's Foreign Trade Policy - From GATT to WTO (1945-2022)".

Also, Marcio Brasileiro, CEO of Concremat, an engineering and technology company member of CEBRI since 2018 that was incorporated into China Communications Constructions Company, hosted Lucas Dib to address cooperation opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
