CEBRI hosts a delegation from Slovenia to discuss relations with Brazil

On Tuesday (11), CEBRI welcomed to its headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro, a delegation led by the former Prime Minister and current Minister of Defense of Slovenia, Marjan Sarec. Besides the Minister, also in attendance was the Ambassador of Slovenia in Brazil, Gorazd Rencelj, the Chief of Staff of the Slovenian Ministry of Defense, Janja Zorman Macura, the Director-General of Defense Policy of Slovenia, Rolando Zel, the Public Relations Officer of the Slovenian Ministry of Defense, Nika Vrhovnik, and the Civil Attaché at the Slovenian Embassy in Brasilia, Tanja Maslac.

The meeting aimed to discuss the strategic relations between Brazil and Slovenia and the unfolding of the current geopolitical situation in Europe.

CEBRI's CEO, Julia Dias Leite, presented the Minister with policy papers published by CEBRI's thematic programs with recommendations by specialists on Brazilian foreign policy and its domestic impact abroad. Also in attendance was CEBRI's Trustee and founding partner of Veirano Advogados, Ronaldo Veirano, former President of the Board of Directors of Petrobrás, Admiral Eduardo Barcellar Leal Ferreira, and CEBRI's Director of External Relations, Lucas Dib.
