Biography Cláudio Frischtak
Trustee at the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI). Cláudio R. Frischtak, is Managing Partner of Inter.B - International Business Consulting, Director for Mozambique of the International Growth Center (London School of Economics and Oxford University) and World Bank Consultant in the area of public sector integrity and business environment.
He was the Principal Economist in the industry and energy area of the World Bank (1984-91), having participated and directed projects in over 20 countries. Having done his graduate studies at the University of Campinas (1976-78) and Stanford University (1980-84), he was also an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University (1987-1990).
With over 120 publications (among them edited books, academic articles and research reports in the areas of innovation and industrial development, market regulation and competition policy, and infrastructure and economic development), he is a member of several institutional and business boards, including the Infrastructure Council of the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and of the Federation of Industries of Rio de Janeiro (FIRJAN), the Council of the Brazilian Association of Logistics Operators and the Board of Directors of Wilson, Sons.
