Independent, non-partison and multidisciplinar, the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI) has become one of the most important centers of critical thought in international relations in Brazil. Throughout its 18-year history, CEBRI has been guided by excellence, ethics and transparency in the formulation and dissemination of high quality content about the international scenario and Brazil’s role within it.
Brazil needs a think tank like CEBRI, which has an important social function in bringing light to the main current global questions. To guarantee its mission of elevating the level of debate on international relations, enriching public opinion and contributing to the formulation of public policies, CEBRI needs the financial support from companies and other supporting organizations.
In order to ensure transparency in the use of funds received, CEBRI’s financials are audited annually by PricewaterhouseCoopers and are then approved by its supporters following the approval of the Fiscal Board. The Center’s certification as a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest (known by the acronym OSCIP) allows its supporters to declare income tax deductions.
