The Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), the World Resources Institute (WRI), the Latin American Regional Climate Initiative (LACRI) and the Climate Land Use Alliance (CLUA) held a workshop on the design of the project on behalf of the ACT 2015 Agreement on Climate Change. International climate agreement that will take place in 2015. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the possible choices to be made regarding the 2015 climate agreement and the implications of these options for Brazil. The proposal was to create a forum for discussion of proposals, exchange of information on practical experiences, research and analytical work on the following issues: Impressions on the 2015 climate agreement and what choices should be made; How the world sees Brazil in the negotiations and what leadership role Brazil could play; What would be an attractive narrative for Brazil to speak to the world in search of an ambitious and fair international agreement. The meeting was attended by top experts, including: Jennifer Morgan, WRI; Suzana Kahn, PBMC; William Wills, PBMC; Walter Desimoni, LARCI; Alfredo Sirkis, Brazil on Climate Change.
