On September 22, the China Analysis Group, which belongs to CEBRI's Asia Program, held its 1st meeting with the theme "Big Picture: China in the World". The purpose of the meeting was to debate and deepen the analysis of China and world geopolitics and to elaborate approaches and strategies for dialogue between Brazil and China.
The topics covered during the meeting were the role of China in new dimensions of globalization, the priorities of Chinese foreign policy at the regional level and in relations with the US, Europe and Latin America and, finally, the One Belt One road, China's future expansion strategy and its possible impacts on Brazil.
The speaker at the 1st China Analysis Group meeting was Ambassador Marcos Caramuru. The event was moderated by CEBRI Senior Fellow Tatiana Rosito.
